Kids’ water bottles sold at LL Bean recalled for lead violation

(Consumer Product Safety Commission)

WASHINGTON (WHTM) – Children’s water bottles sold exclusively at L.L.Bean have been recalled because the exterior base contains high levels of lead.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the 13.5-ounce insulated bottles were sold with the following color prints: Dino Bones, Flower Power, Orange Grid camo, Purple Tie Dye Butterfly, and Robo Shark.

The bottles were sold at L.L.Bean retail stores and online from July 2015 through May 2016 for about $20.

Consumers should immediately stop using the bottles and contact L.L.Bean for a full refund.
