GDPA Summer School: Applied Math in the 1800’s

Jeff Hawks of the Army Heritage Center Foundation stopped in today with a twist on modern science and mathematics equations.

“Wood was especially important because it was cheap, easily available to most people, and easy to work with,” tells Hawks.

Wood and other commonly used materials served as a tangible example of applicable math for all ages.
