CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A man wanted for a shots-fired incident last month outside the Haines Stackfield American Legion was arrested Thursday afternoon after several police officers surrounded a home in the first block of West North Street.
Evans is charged with disorderly conduct and firearms violations regarding the June 26 incident. Police said he has prior convictions that prohibit him from having guns, and he was carrying the handgun concealed.
He was arrested without incident.
The Cumberland County Special Response Team was called to assist because Evans was considered armed and dangerous.
