GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Virginia woman was arrested after police said she led troopers on a high-speed chase on Route 15 that reached speeds of more than 100 mph.
Elizabeth A. Dorrian, 20, of Fredericksburg, refused to pull over after a Chevrolet Equinox she was driving was clocked at 89 mph in a 65-mph zone last week in Straban Township, state police in Gettysburg said.
Troopers pursued the Chevy for several miles, at speeds up to 105 mph, before Dorrian stopped in the center median just north of Baltimore Pike.
She was transported to Adams County Prison on charges of fleeing and eluding. She also was cited for several summary traffic violations.
