Starting at midnight, a section of Route 30 will be closed as crews make repairs on the Burgs Lane bridge in Hellam Township, York County.
Traffic on Route 30 east, between Hallam and Wrightsville, will be reduced to one lane beginning at 9 p.m. At midnight, all lanes will close until about 5 a.m. Friday.
According to PennDOT, eastbound traffic will be detoured by way of Route 462 and back to eastbound Route 30.
During the closure, crews will set a bridge beam on the Burgs Lane bridge that was damaged in the fall.
Drivers should expect future delays as the $265,206 project will not likely wrap up until the end of August.
