Police: Would-be thieves with child rammed vending machine

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for help to identify two men who rammed a car wash vending machine in an attempt to break it open.

Swatara Township police said the men had a young child inside a Honda Odyssey minivan when they attempted the theft at the Rutherford Car Wash, in the 7400 block of Derry Street.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Investigators released surveillance photos of one man and the minivan.
