Wall collapses again at Harrisburg tire shop

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A retaining wall near the Mulberry Street Bridge in Harrisburg collapsed even more Saturday morning.

The debris including a car slid into Howard and Tire Auto.

The owner says he thinks the recent rain is to blame.

The wall initially collapsed in May.

PennDOT wrapped up its investigation saying the wall is close to the bridge, but didn’t have anything to do with the collapse.

Macfarland Apartments is just above the tire shop, its lawyers blame PennDOT.

The tire shop now stuck in the middle of the dispute, no word on when clean up will take place.
