YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County woman accused of killing her 3-year-old daughter now faces aggravated assault charges related to an attack on a hospital nurse.
According to a criminal complaint, 30-year-old Regina Lester kicked a York Hospital nurse technician in the mouth. Earlier that day, neighbors found Lester naked outside her home while her daughter laid unresponsive on the kitchen floor.
Police said Brandon Webster was working on June 8 when Lester was brought in on a stretcher handcuffed and in shackles. While removing her restraints, police said Lester kicked Webster in the mouth.
Webster required medical attention for the injuries suffered in the assault.
Lester faces criminal homicide, endangering the welfare of children, and terroristic threats in the death of her daughter Isabel Rose Godfrey.
