Night work on Route 743 in Hershey to begin Sunday

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) – Nighttime work to repave Route 743 in Derry Township is scheduled to begin Sunday night.

Workers will remove the top layer of asphalt and pave with new blacktop between Route 422 and Route 322, according to a PennDOT news release.

Drivers should expect construction activity, with flaggers assisting them through the work area, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday to Friday morning.

This work is part of a project that began in March to repair and resurface a little more than one mile of Route 743 between Hershey Park Drive and Route 322.
