Pedestrian struck in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — One person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Dauphin County.

Police in Harrisburg say shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday a person was hit by a vehicle on North Second and Verbeke streets.

Dispatchers say the person was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. There was no word on the victim’s condition.

Officials say the scene was cleared about an hour later.
