WAYNESBORO, Pa. (WHTM) – Police were called to the scene of a shooting this evening at a pharmacy in Waynesboro.
According to reports, a pharmacy worker shot at an armed who was attempting to rob the Antietam Pharmacy on S. Potomac Street. It happened around 5 p.m.
According to Waynesboro Police Chief James Sourbier, two store employees were inside at the time of the incident. An armed man with a mask entered the store and made threatened as he demanded money.
One employee, who had a license to carry a firearm, shot four times at the man.
He is now in the hospital. His condition is unknown.
