Research shows that family grocery costs increase more than $300 a month when school is out, putting a strain on already-tight budgets. Summer feeding programs do exist, but only 1 in 7 children that qualify participate due to lack of transportation or lack of awareness.
Today they showcased their Crockpot Pizza Recipe for those with little time to cook.
“Crockpots are an essential tool for families that work and may not have working ovens. Our local Rotary donates crockpots to families over the holidays.
