Police ID victims in pedestrian crash last week in York

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) –  Police have identified the five people who were hospitalized after an SUV veered off onto a sidewalk last week in York.

It happened Friday morning in the first block of S. George Street.

Police believe 78-year-old Robert Davis may have suffered a medical episode when he left the roadway and drove onto the sidewalk.

Those struck by his vehicle have been identified as Deanna Eberly, Edilma Famania, Eric Mcallister, Winfred Mckee and Kathy Sloan.

All were taken to York Hospital, including Davis, and are expected to survive as of a recent report.

The investigation is going. Anyone with information is asked to call the York City Police Department at 717-846-1234.
