HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Shermans Dale man was arrested after he made loud derogatory statements during a vigil for the Orlando nightclub shooting victims in Harrisburg, police said.

Jacob Bucher III, 30, also is accused of resisting arrest and harassing media and others gathered for the vigil.

City police said Bucher continuously made vulgar statements, even as he was being detained by a state police trooper from Gov. Wolf’s security detail and after officers repeatedly told him to stop.

Bucher was placed on the ground and began violently kicking at officers as they tried to control him, police said.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of three small baggies of marijuana.
