Gov. Wolf at home after prostate cancer treatment

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Gov. Tom Wolf is resting at his Mount Wolf home after a successful outpatient procedure for prostate cancer.

A spokesman said the governor will return to the office on Thursday as planned.

His office has said the Tuesday procedure wouldn’t keep Wolf from performing his job, so duties weren’t turned over to the lieutenant governor.

Wolf publicly disclosed the cancer in February. He described it as a mild form that would require minor treatment but not involve chemotherapy.
