1 hospitalized in Lancaster shooting

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster city police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot multiple times Tuesday night.

Police said they responded around 7:22 p.m. to the 500 block of Juniata Street for a report of a fight in progress. Evidence consistent with gunshots fired were found at the scene.

Officers soon learned that a teen male was taken to a local hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds to the neck, shoulder, and elbow.

At the hospital, the victim was not cooperative with investigators. It’s not clear if the victim had been involved in the initial reported fight.

His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
