4 accused of defrauding store of $175K

CRESSONA, Pa. (WHTM) – Four people are accused of defrauding a central Pennsylvania store out of more than $175,000.

State police in Schuylkill Haven said the four made fraudulent merchandise returns at the Cressona Agway between May 2011 and March 2016. During that time, they allegedly stole $175,082.11 and used the money for various things that included playing the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Kerry Titus, 54; Loan Lechleitner, 51; Samantha Schaeffer, 25; Tyler Schappell, 21; all of Pottsville, each face charges of felony theft.
