Man held on $150K bail in Ephrata stabbing

EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) – A 19-year-old is facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly stabbing a man several times with a knife.

Police also allege that Colin Edward Hunt, of Berwyn, stole two wireless phones from the victim.

Hunt has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery for Monday’s incident at a residence on North State Street.

Investigators determined that Hunt was a guest at the home and that he and the 21-year-old victim were in a physical altercation before the stabbing.

Hunt admitted to his role in the incident, police say.

He was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $150,000 bail.
