NASCAR hauler parade returns to Harrisburg next week


HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – NASCAR teams will make a pit stop in Harrisburg next week on their way to Pocono Raceway.

The annual NASCAR Hauler Open House and Parade is a free event on Thursday, June 2. The open house at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center will begin at 10 a.m. The parade follows at 11:30 a.m.

During the open house, fans can take photos and walk through the haulers.

Police and the Pocono pace car will lead the haulers to the state Capitol Complex at 11:45 a.m. The parade will begin on Commonwealth Avenue at 11:55, approach the Capital Fountain and then follow Walnut, North Third, and Forster before exiting the city for Interstate 81.

The Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 at Pocono Raceway will be held June 3-5.
