Harrisburg police looking for gas station robber

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who put a gun to the back of a city gas station clerk before taking the money from the register.

The robbery occurred Wednesday evening at the Gulf mini-market in the 1900 block of Herr Street.

The victim told investigators he was the only person in the store and was mopping the floor when the robber approached him and walked him to the register.

The gunman is about 6’3″ tall and was wearing a red hooded Under Armour sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, black pants, and brown boots which appeared to be similar to Timberlands. The sweatshirt had white writing around the hood.

Anyone with information can call Dauphin County police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a city detective.
