HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A city man is jailed after police say he confessed to a fatal stabbing last year.
Thomas Boyer, 27, is charged with criminal homicide in the killing of Theodore McCarty, police said Friday.
McCarty’s decomposing body was found Sept. 8 inside his apartment in the first block of South 19th Street. An autopsy determined he had been stabbed several times.
Boyer was interviewed Wednesday and admitting to murdering McCarty during an argument, police said.
He was jailed in the Dauphin County Prison without bail. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 27.
