Repair and resurfacing project gets underway east of Harrisburg on Route 322 and Route 422

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Work will begin Sunday night on almost seven miles of Route 322 between the Eisenhower Interchange in Swatara Township and the Hershey interchange with Route 39 and Route 422 in Derry Township.

PennDOT said the work will happen overnight between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and traffic will be restricted to one lane.

Motorists are asked to be alert and drive safely through the work zones.

During the road work, ramps will be closed overnight in the Hershey interchange with Route 322, Route 422, and Route 39.

Traffic will be detoured while work is underway on the ramps.
