Harrisburg police seek tips in brick attack caught on camera

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – City police are asking for the public’s help to identify a young man they said was recorded on video as he struck another person several times in the head with a brick.

14th_-_swatara_riotPolice on Monday released the video so that someone may recognize their suspect.

The assault occurred during a large fight Wednesday afternoon in the area of 14th & Swatara streets. The fight reportedly stemmed from a previous fight earlier in the day at Harrisburg High School.

In the video, the suspect can be seen picking up a brick and striking a male in the head several times. He then kicks this male in the head.

Anyone with information can call the Dauphin County police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a city detective.
