York Shred Fest helps protect people’s identities after tax season

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – The FTC says identity theft complaints increased last year by 47 percent.

To try to eliminate that, AARP hosted a York area spring cleaning for tax and financial records.

People were able to drop off their records at the Continental Paper Grading along Concord Road in York for secure destruction.
