Ryobi snow blowers recalled for fire, burn hazard

Ryobi 40-Volt Brushless Snow Blower (Consumer Product Safety Commission)

WASHINGTON (WHTM) – One World Technologies is recalling Ryobi snow blowers sold exclusively at Home Depot because they could overheat and catch fire.

One World has received two reports of snow blowers overheating during or immediately after use, and one owner reported seeing flames that were immediately extinguished, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

No injuries or property damage have been reported.

The recall involves Ryobi 40-volt Brushless Snow Blowers with model numbers RY40802, RY40802A and RY40822.
