Baltimore marks anniversary of violence, protests

It’s been one year since the death of Freddie Gray in police custody and the violence and protests that followed on the streets of Baltimore.

April 25, 2015 has been dubbed “Baltimore Uprising.”  On that day, thousands marched in protest, in what would turn into several nights of violence.

The violence reached its height on April 27, when riots broke out across the city.

Sunday, hundreds of people came together to mark unrest with a unity march.  Another community rally will be held Monday in Baltimore.
