Police investigating prostitution business in West Manchester

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County woman was arrested after police said she offered to perform various sexual acts on an undercover officer.

West Manchester Township police Chief Arthur Smith said he believes Heather Strausbaugh was providing “companion services” to multiple customers daily for an extended period of time.

The undercover officer had responded to one of Strausbaugh’s online “escort companion” advertisements. The officer was directed to a home in the 2600 block of Bank Lane, where Strausbaugh offered to perform acts for the pricing listed in her ad, police said.

Smith said police seized evidence of prostitution and Strausbaugh’s customer information.
