ABC27 Poll: Regan leads race for Pennsylvania Senate seat

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – An exclusive ABC27 News poll shows state Rep. Mike Regan has a strong lead over his Republican challengers in the race for Pennsylvania’s 31st Senate District.

The poll conducted by Susquehanna Polling and Research found 45 percent of registered Republican voters plan to vote for Regan. Former NFL running back Jon Ritchie received 28 percent of the vote. Eight percent said they’ll vote for Cumberland County dentist Brice Arndt and one percent support York County attorney Scott Harper.

Voters said they have a favorable opinion of Regan (55%) and Ritchie (38%), but most didn’t know enough about Arndt or Harper to form an opinion.

Most voters, 75 percent, said television ads have not influenced their choice in the race.
