UPDATE: Missing girl, 11, found safe

UPDATE:

State police confirmed that 11-year-old Cheyene Brenize has been found safe. Police said she was found walking along the street by her mother. No other information was made available.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

State police said they are looking for a missing 11-year-old and described her as “endangered.”

Police issued the missing person alert for Cheyene Brenize. They said she was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Sunset Road in Lurgan Township, Franklin County.

Police said they located her bike at her grandmother’s house on that street.

Brenize is five feet tall, 96 pounds, with brown, shoulder-length hair. She was last wearing a light blue tee-shirt, dark blue sweatpants and no shoes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call State Police in Chambersburg at 717-264-5161 or simply call 9-1-1.
