Police: Teen threatened to shoot man over $5

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A 19-year-old is facing charges for allegedly threatening to shoot a man if he didn’t give him $5.

Michael Perez, of Lancaster, was arrested Wednesday night shortly after police were called to the 100 block of S. Queen Street.

According to police, Perez knocked on the front door of the residence and demanded that a man inside hand over $5 or else he would “put a hole in his stomach.”

When officers arrived, Perez was patted down and found to be in possession of a loaded Hi-Point CF-380 semi-automatic handgun.

Residents of the home told police they were known to Perez.

Perez has been charged with felony counts of robbery and firearms not to be carried without a license.
