Farm Show complex readies for Trump’s first Midstate campaign stop

Donald Trump is set to make his first Midstate campaign appearance Thursday evening.

The GOP frontrunner in the race for the presidential nomination will appear at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg at 7 p.m.

Workers spent much of the day Wednesday preparing for the event.

Supporters started to show up outside the venue the day before the planned rally.

“Let’s hope if there are any protesters there they remain peaceful…they express their views and the Trump supporters remain peaceful and express their views,” said local attorney Marc Scaringi, a Trump supporter.

Security is expected to be tight.

To secure tickets, visit Trump’s website.  Two tickets per cell phone will be issued.

Doors for the event open at 4 p.m.
