Group to provide services for primary election

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A voter protection coalition says it will ensure people are equipped with accurate information when heading to the polls Tuesday for Pennsylvania’s primary election.

Voters who have questions or experience problems at the polls should call Election Protection at 866-OUR-VOTE. The hotline will be staffed live from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The group reminded voters that they should verify their registration status before Tuesday at votespa.com.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Only first-time voters may be required to show an ID, which could be a utility bill or bank statement bearing a name and correct address or a photo ID like a driver’s license or student ID card.
