UPDATE: 3rd suspect in Lancaster park beating arrested in Ohio

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have arrested two men wanted for severely beating a man last week at a Lancaster park.

Giri Ganesh, 27, and Ishwor Chhetri, 26, were arrested Wednesday for their roles in the April 11 incident that a left man with a broken nose, multiple facial fractures, and a brain bleed.

Bhanu Bhattarai, 26, whose last known address is in Ohio, is still wanted in connection with the assault.

Investigators say the three offered the victim a ride home but instead took him to Buchanan Park where they punched, kicked, and strangled him with a belt. The three men also took most of his clothes off.

The victim told police he was at a city bar playing pool with the three men prior to the beating.

In an interview with police, days later, Chhetri reportedly had blood on his pants.
