WASHINGTON (WHTM) – Polaris is recalling about 133,000 recreational off-highway vehicles that can catch fire.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the company has received more than 160 reports of fires. One report involved the death of a 15-year-old passenger from a rollover that resulted in a fire.

Nineteen others reported injuries that included first, second and third-degree burns.

The recall involves 2013-2016 RZR 900 and RZR 1000 ROVs. Visit www.polaris.com to determine if your RZR VIN number is included.

Owners should stop using the ROVs immediately and contact their Polaris dealer for a free repair.

Polaris has voluntarily suspended the sale of all recalled vehicles until they are repaired.
