Sources: Alexander Hamilton to stay on $10 bill

In the next few days, the U.S. Treasury Department is expected to announce a decision on the fate of the face of the $10 bill.

Sources tell CNN, Alexander Hamilton, the nation’s first Secretary of Treasury, will remain on the front of the bill but there will be a change.

Reportedly, a mural of the women’s suffrage movement will be added to the back.

Fans of Hamilton were outraged when the department announced it was considering removing him from the bill.

Another announcement expected is the removal of Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill.

A woman will reportedly replace him in the next decade.
