One person died and two others were injured Sunday night in a shooting near Girard Park. Police are looking for a suspect but do not believe this was a random act.

Police in Harrisburg are also investigating a Sunday shooting.

One person was taken to the hospital after the shooting on the 1400 block of Swatara Street. It happened around 11:45 p.m.

State House lawmakers are expected to debate a controversial abortion bill today.

House Bill 1948 would ban most abortions after 20 weeks. Under current law, it’s 24 weeks. The bill would also criminalize procedures that dismember the fetus.
