LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Roadwork on a section of Route 462 that goes through Lancaster City is happening at different times than initially reported.
In a press release, PennDOT said the paving project will now take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, beginning April 11.
The project covers a 2.1-mile portion of Route 462 between West Street on the west end of the city and Broad Street on the east end. The operation will start at the west end of the project and move eastward.
Drivers are asked to slow down and be alert while driving through this area.
The paving work should wrap up by early-to-mid-May.
