Sarah Glunz, nutritionist at Giant Food Stores, joined us in the kitchen today with some advice on how to reduce food waste and make use of everything you purchase.

  1. Practice first in, first out.
  2. Learn how to freeze and can food.
  3. Use soon-to-spoil fruits and veggies in smoothies and soups.
  4. Find ways to use food scraps.
  5. Make a plan for leftovers.
