LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A city couple was arrested after authorities said a raid on their home turned up 800 bags of heroin, rifles and a body armor vest.
Joel Plata-Cabrera and Rosa Pichardo-Bueno, both 20, are charged with felony drug dealing, according to the Lancaster County district attorney’s office.
Lancaster County Drug Task Force detectives searched the couple’s home in the 1100 block of Fremont Street on March 16 because they suspected illegal drug activity.
The heroin has an estimated street value of $8,000.
Authorities said the detectives also found two semiautomatic rifles, ammunition, drug packaging supplies, and $10,000 cash.
Plata-Cabrera and Pichardo-Bueno were released after posting $50,000 bail. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for May 24.
