Carlisle makes it to the Strong Towns Championship Round!

With voting over for the StrongTowns.org Final Four, Carlisle has advanced to the final leg of the contest. The Midstate town is now pitted against Hoboken, NJ in the Championship Round.

StrongTowns.org has been hosting the March Madness contest featuring towns across the United States in a bracket-based competition.

First, Carlisle made it to the Sweet Sixteen when voters then narrowed the field down to the Final Four with Carlisle up against Holland, MI.

In a Strong Towns podcast, Brenda Landis with Carlisle West Side Neighbors and Dickinson College said of Carlisle, “It’s a small beautiful, historic town with a thriving downtown.

“I love Carlisle and I’m always trying to look at ways to make it a better place.”

Voting ends of Sunday, April 3 at 11pm CT. The winner will be announced on April 4.
