Carlisle man charged with child porn possession

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have charged a Carlisle man after several files of child pornography were found on his computer.

John Mattern, 37, also known as Scott, was arrested after police received a tip of possible child pornography saved on his computer.

On Tuesday, investigators searched Mattern’s home and reported finding numerous files of pornographic images and videos of children.

Mattern was arrested and jailed on three counts of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.

He has since been released on $5,000 bail.
