Coroner: Body found in Manchester is that of missing man

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Tests confirm a body found in Manchester over the weekend is that of a man reported missing three months ago.

The body has been positively identified as Kenneth Palmer, York County Coroner Pam Gay’s office said Tuesday.

Palmer, 61, of Manchester, had been missing since Dec. 14.

His body was found Saturday afternoon in a wooded area around the 300 block of Park Street.

An autopsy determined the manner of death is suicide.
