A Lancaster County man will serve up to 61 years in prison for the repeated sexual abuse of a young girl.
On Wednesday, Judge Dennis Reinaker sentenced Chad Earl Frantz to 30½ to 61 years behind bars.
The sentence comes after a December trail when Frantz convicted of charges including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and aggravated indecent assault.
According to court documents, Frantz abused a young girl for seven years, beginning in 2003 when the girl was four-years-old.
The girl, now 16, has testified at trial.
Assistant District Attorney Karen Mansfield asked Judge Reinaker to order consecutive sentences on the most serious charges, adding that the impact from the abuse on the girl was more than she’d seen in any other case in her career.
