CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – The 2016 Leadership Conference will be held April 1-2 at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg in Camp Hill.

Lowman Henry is with the Lincoln Institute. He says the Republican race for President may look different by then.

“I would expect by April 26, we are likely to be down to two candidates, maybe three at the most,” said Henry, “I think Pennsylvania voters will see a lot of those candidates if our primary is still in play.”

Henry says invitations were sent out to all of the presidential candidates, and so far Senator Ted Cruz, confirmed he will attend.

“We continue to have discussions with Mr. Trump, with Governor Kasich and Senator Rubio’s folks,” said Henry, “We are hopeful, as we come up to the conference in a couple weeks, that all of them will join us.”

Henry says the conference will be more than a stump speech opportunity for the candidates. He says their members are very serious and don’t want to hear campaign slogans or talking points, they want details about how they plan to move the country forward.

The conference will feature current and former conservative lawmakers at the state and national level. There will be panel discussions and interactive workshops during the two-day event. For more information, visit www.paleadershipconference.org.
