Steelton woman charged with child endangerment, careless driving

STEELTON, Pa. (WHTM) – A woman was arrested for causing an accident while two children were in the car.

Steelton police responded to the incident on Wednesday in the area of 3rd Alley and Watson Street.

The accident was brought on by 22-year-old Rebecca Murlin’s unsafe driving, authorities say.

Murlin had a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old in the car with her. Their car seats weren’t buckled or latched. Both children were transported to the hospital.

Murlin was chared with careless driving, driving under suspension, and two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
