Pennsylvania flags lowered to honor Nancy Reagan

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex lowered to half-staff to honor former First Lady Nancy Reagan.

The governor’s order also lowers flags at state buildings across Pennsylvania.

President Barack Obama has directed federal buildings, embassies, military posts and naval vessels to lower their flags “as a mark of respect” for the former first lady, who died Sunday at her home in Los Angeles. She was 94.

Reagan will be buried beside her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California.
