Man charged after calling 911 over 300 times

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – A Dauphin County man is facing charges after police said he called 911 more than 300 times.

Joshua C. Smith, 29, of Middletown, made the calls in January and February for no legitimate purpose, Swatara Township police said.

Smith was charged with harassment and false alarms to agencies of public safety.
