The Lebanon County Commission for Women was established in 2003 by the Lebanon County Commissioners to serve as a conduit on issues of concern to Lebanon County women. The mission of the Commission is to promote awareness, be a catalyst for change and facilitate action in matters pertaining to women and their families.
The vision of the Commission is to advocate for increased opportunities for women to achieve positions of leadership in business, government and the professions. The Commission will work to assist women to enhance their status in the community through a variety of projects. Some of the projects supported by the Commission include financial literacy workshops for women; the Glass Slipper Project; the HOPES Resource Center and Emergency Shelter; and Women’s History Month.
The Lebanon County Commission for Women is celebrating the 7th Annual Women’s Hall of Fame on Wednesday, March 23 at the Lebanon Country Club, 3375 Oak Street, Lebanon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost of the luncheon is $25 per person.
