WASHINGTON (AP) – People can visit the Supreme Court Friday to pay tribute to the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
Scalia will lie in repose in the court’s Great Hall. Court officials say Scalia’s casket will arrive early Friday, with Supreme Court police carrying it up the court steps and former clerks following as honorary pallbearers.
A private ceremony including family, friends and the justices will take place at the court at 9:30 a.m.
Scalia’s casket will then be on public view in the court’s Great Hall from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
