A Harrisburg man posted online ads to lure women to private locations before he then assaulted and robbed them, authorities say.
Daryl Dion Walker Jr., 21, who was on parole for previous robbery charges, confessed to the allegations.
In January, police say Walker robbed a woman of her purse, jewelry, and struck her several times with a gun at an Econo Lodge hotel room in Lancaster County.
The victim told police she agreed to meet Walker via a classified site called “Backpage.”
Days earlier, police say Walker robbed a woman at a Harrisburg apartment.
Walker has been committed to Dauphin County Prison without bail.
Police have filed felony charges of robbery and conspiracy against Walker.
